We would like to welcome you to Anytown First United Methodist Church and we are glad to “meet” you.
 
We may be a 200-year-old church but we are still relevant to your life today. We live in a crazy world and sometimes it does not make a whole lot of sense. We are all on a journey of faith together and we invite you to join us.
 
Whether you are exploring the idea of God, looking for a helping hand, or continuing a long faith journey, come as you are. You are welcome here.​

​Worship with Us

​Our worship services are at 10am every Sunday in our sanctuary. We don’t care if you are in jeans or a 3-piece suit as we sing together, laugh together, sometimes cry together, and learn about God’s love for us through the example of Jesus Christ.
 
Worship services are an hour long. We have nursery and children’s church for kids up to 5th grade after the children’s message. Children of all ages are welcome in the service and we have activity packs available in the lobby.
 
We also livestream our services on YouTube and Facebook Live at 10am.

Grow Together in Faith

God doesn’t ask us to be perfect. We don’t need to believe the right things, wear the right clothes, or live a perfect life. He just asks us to show up. We have a God that loves us as we are and seeks for us to grow one day at a time. It takes prayer, study and action to learn about God and apply it to your life.
 
​We have something for everyone. Kids, youth, young adults, families, empty nesters or seniors.  No matter what is going on in your life, we have something for you to get connected and allow us to do life together.

Children's Programs

We provide an engaging and safe environment where all children, from infants through grade 6.  Kids can experience the love of God, including Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and 4:12 Kids in an atmosphere filled with fun and laughter where the Bible is taught in a relevant way.​

Youth Group

Youth today face crazy pressure from school, sports, their friends and even their family. We seek to help youth from 6th to 12th grade navigate these pressures and give them a place to connect with God, with other people and have fun.​

Adult Small Groups and Studies

Life was not meant to be lived alone. We grow when we study, serve and share our lives together. Wherever you are in life, there’s a next step you can take to better connect and grow in your faith. And we’re here to help you along the way.

Join us on Wednesday nights at 7pm as we explore Jesus' last days.

Serve God & Others

Faith without works is dead. Being a disciple of Christ is not just about learning what Christ teaches but following His example to loving others. We have opportunities for you to live your faith “out loud” to serve others in our church, our community and our world.

Giving Generously 

​God asks us to give a portion of what we have been blessed with to help others. While money can be a touchy subject, Jesus addresses it A LOT in the New Testament as it reflects where we put our hope and faith.
 
We are all called to be good stewards of what God has given us to help the body of Christ and spread God’s love. We are located at: 123 Market Street, Anytown, MA 01778.  The church office is open Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, and we are open on Sunday starting at 9AM.
